The Little Five
A set of small African species known as the "Little Five" are similar to the "Big Five."
Rhinoceros Beetle: The rhinoceros beetle, so named because of its projections that resemble horns, is one of the biggest beetles in Africa. It is renowned for its remarkable strength and has a glossy exoskeleton that is either brown or black. These beetles lay their eggs in decomposing wood or dung, which is where they are typically found.
Lion Ant: The lion ant is a little, aggressive bug with a strong bite that is well-known for its combative personality despite its diminutive size. It is commonly seen in colonies and has a characteristic body colour of yellow or reddish-brown. They have a reputation for fiercely defending their domain.
